Hobart Hurricanes vs Melbourne Renegades Live Score:

Hobart Hurricanes and Melbourne Renegades will clash in the BBL 2023-24 on Saturday at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart. The Hurricanes haven’t had the best start, losing both their matches and standing second-last. Meanwhile, the Renegades have won one out of their three games, with one match ending without a result.

In their previous game against Perth Scorchers, Hobart Hurricanes faced a tough start when they batted first. Half of their team got out for only 47 runs in 7.4 overs. However, thanks to a strong partnership between Nikhil Chaudhary and Mitchell Owen, they managed to pass the 100-run mark. Chris Jordan’s explosive innings of 59 runs off 20 balls boosted them to a total of 172 runs for 8 wickets. Jason Behrendorff was outstanding for the Scorchers, taking 4 wickets for 25 runs in 4 overs.

Despite a shaky start for the Scorchers in their chase, Zak Crawley and Aaron Hardie’s partnership helped them cruise to victory. Crawley scored 65 not out, and Hardie contributed an impressive 85 not out as the Scorchers won comfortably with nine wickets in hand. Chris Jordan took the lone wicket for the Hurricanes.

In the Renegades’ recent match against Brisbane Heat, they struggled early in their batting innings but Jake Fraser-McGurk played exceptionally well, scoring 55 runs off 23 balls. Jonathan Wells also contributed with an unbeaten 34 runs. However, they could only manage 162 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Paul Walter shone for the Heat, taking 3 wickets for 27 runs.

Chasing 163 runs, Brisbane Heat faced a few early setbacks but a strong partnership between Matt Renshaw and Sam Billings helped stabilize their innings. Renshaw also had another good partnership with Paul Walter, guiding the Heat to victory in 18.1 overs with 6 wickets in hand.

So, both teams have had their ups and downs, and it’ll be an exciting match between the Hurricanes and Renegades. (Hobart Hurricanes vs Melbourne Renegades Live Score).
